New releases and feature enhancements

The latest updates introduce new features for the Virtual commissioning, the Digital twin and the analysis of simulation processes.

These include approvals for RobotStudio 2026.1 and RobotStudio 2026.2 with RS200 Build 83, the storage of recorded data in the hub for WinMOD V8, and the migration of the first products to .NET 10.

  • Releases for RobotStudio 2026.1 and RobotStudio 2026.2
    • RS200 Build 83 supports ABB RobotStudio 2026.1 and RobotStudio 2026.2.
    • This expands on the existing RobotStudio integration mentioned in our last news update dated 26 March 2026.
    • Users can continue to use the latest versions of RobotStudio in conjunction with WinMOD for simulation, virtual commissioning and testing.
  • Save recorder data directly to the project
    • Recorded data is now saved in the project file.
    • This means that projects, including the recorded data, can be opened and analysed on other computers.
    • It is also possible to export recorded data as a CSV file and analyse it in Microsoft Excel, for example.
    • This simplifies the sharing, analysis and traceability of simulation, test and reference data.
  • First products migrated to .NET 10
    • The first WinMOD products have been migrated to .NET 10.
    • .NET 10 provides a modern technological foundation with long-term support.
    • The benefits include:
      • long-term support as an LTS version
      • improved runtime performance
      • more efficient memory management
      • Optimisations to the runtime environment and libraries
      • latest security updates
      • modern platform and tool support
      • easier maintenance for future product versions
