With its latest enhancements, WinMOD improves project archiving, automated project processing and project preparation. In addition, library packages and templates for process applications have been updated. The new features support existing workflows relating to Simulation, Digital Twin and Virtual Commissioning. At the same time, they expand the possibilities for project planning, testing and Automation.

- Enhanced project archiving in WinMOD V7.2
We have the function File > Archive project… in WinMOD V7.2 expanded. When archiving projects, WinMOD now also supports BGR_01 (Clock generator) and AFF_01 (Formula). This also allows you to process projects containing these elements using the existing archiving function.
- New features in the WinMOD Tool API
The WinMOD Tool API gains additional functions for automated project processing. With Load and Close you can open or close projects without saving any changes you have made. You can also access the tab CommElements we have expanded. You can now view properties of COMM_SEND and COMM_RECV view and edit. You can also configure the inputs of COMM_SEND display and the outputs from COMM_RECV force. In the tab Drivers You can also edit the DNS names in the X800 change. The extensions provide additional options for automating recurring project configuration and testing processes via the WinMOD Tool API to automate.
- Updated WinMOD V8.0 library package Lib_Libs
That, too, WinMOD V8.0 Library Package Lib_Libs has been revised. All the examples it contains are now fully parameterised. In addition, many FlowT elements on Floating-point formats has been updated. The updated version is available on request.
- New and updated project templates
The project templates for the process application have been updated. The new templates include additional documents, thereby providing a more comprehensive starting point for new WinMOD projects.
The latest enhancements improve key processes in project planning, Automation and project management. At the same time, they strengthen WinMOD as a platform for Digital twin, software testing and virtual commissioning.
