With its latest enhancements, WinMOD improves integration with modern and existing automation systems. The focus is on B&R Automation Studio, the new I300 product and the TIA Openness Exporter. This enables engineering processes for Virtual commissioning and Digital twins further simplified.

- New product: I300 for WinMOD V8
I300 provides a further system interface within the WinMOD V8 family.
I300 enables B&R automation systems to be connected to WinMOD.
This enables relevant B&R projects to be integrated into simulation and test environments using WinMOD V8. This broadens the scope of application for software testing and virtual commissioning.
- Enhancements to the WinMOD Exporter in Automation Studio
WinMOD Exporter Automation Studio has been enhanced with additional functions for B&R projects.
The exporter now also supports deactivated cards within the relevant Automation Studio projects. This makes it possible to prepare more complex project structures for WinMOD more reliably.
This also allows existing configurations to be adopted more flexibly.
A prefix may also be used for automatically generated operand names.
This improves the structure and makes it easier to clearly assign the operands that have been generated.
- Improved TIA Openness export for older versions of TIA Portal
The WinMOD Exporter TIA Openness has been developed for the products A756 and X800 further optimised.
These changes improve support for older versions of the TIA Portal in particular.
This benefits projects with TIA Portal V15.1 and earlier versions. This makes it possible to integrate existing Siemens projects more reliably into WinMOD workflows.
The new features extend compatibility with various automation platforms.
At the same time, they reduce the number of manual steps involved in project planning, simulation and software testing. WinMOD thus supports efficient engineering processes for virtual commissioning and digital twins.
