Extensions for simulation, analysis, factory planning, material flow analysis and robot programming

With current extensions, new functions are available for the Virtual commissioning, the Digital twin and the analysis of simulation processes.

The focus is on the integration of safety in Sysmac Studio projects, the release for Visual Components 5.0.1 as well as new possibilities for signal recording and graphical evaluation in the Hub for WinMOD V8.

Highlights:

  • EtherCAT emulation
With the WinMOD Tool Sysmac Studio a new product is now available.
It enables the temporary deactivation of FSoE - FailSafe over EtherCAT in Sysmac Studio projects. After an update, the setup must be restarted. The add-on can then be installed via
Change → Add-ons → WinMOD Tool Sysmac Studio
can be selected. Further information can be found in the manual.
  • KUKA.OfficeLite, KUKA.Sim, iiQWorks.Sim and Visual Components Premium
The release for Visual Components V5.0.1 has been added.
WinMOD thus supports current Visual Components projects in conjunction with KUKA simulations.
  • Recorder and Analyser for WinMOD V8
In the Stroke are one recorder and a Graphical analyser for WinMOD V8 available. The recorder records signals during the simulation. At the same time, the analyser directly displays the data visually and enables graphical evaluation during recording. This allows signal curves, process data and temporal relationships to be checked directly during the simulation process. This supports users in particular when Virtual commissioning and when working with the Digital twin.

The new enhancements improve work with simulation projects, robot simulations and signal curves. This provides users with additional tools to analyse virtual system models, control signals and process data more transparently and to use them more efficiently for the Virtual commissioning Utilization.

If you have any questions about the new functions or possible applications, the support team will be happy to help as usual.
