On 4 October 2022, the new Niederfinow ship lift was inaugurated. It is considered the most modern lift in Europe. In order to test the complex automation system of the facility safely and comprehensively, the executing shipping authority decided to carry out a virtual commissioning with our WinMOD. During several commissioning sessions, either at our premises or directly on site, a great collaboration developed between the operator, the automation company and us as the creators of the virtual ship lift.
